Privacy Policy

How website information is handled.

This Privacy Policy explains how Old Hand Works LLC ("Old Hand Works," "we," "us," and "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through oldhandworks.com.

Lean collection

We ask for practical inquiry details, not passwords, card numbers, SSNs, or sensitive regulated information.

Service providers

Cloudflare, Resend, Google Workspace, and business providers may process information as needed to run the site and respond.

Privacy requests can be sent through the contact form with "Privacy Request" in the message.

01

The site is intended for business and professional audiences in the United States. If you visit or contact us from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate.

02

To review the inquiry, respond, suggest next steps, and prepare proposals or agreements.

Generally kept while the inquiry is active and for a reasonable business follow-up period. Client records may be kept longer.

To deliver, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve the website.

Retained according to provider logs, security needs, and normal troubleshooting windows.

Business records

Created from our work with you and our business tools: email threads, proposals, statements of work, invoices, payment status, and accounting records.

To manage client work, billing, taxes, accounting, support, and legal obligations.

Kept for applicable accounting, tax, legal, and business recordkeeping periods.

05

Cookies, Analytics, And Browser Signals

The current site is intended to avoid nonessential cookies, retargeting pixels, ad network tags, and marketing trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be enabled to measure aggregate site performance and traffic. Cloudflare describes that product as collecting limited performance metrics and not tracking individual end users across customer sites.

Some hosting, security, or anti-spam features may use technical signals or cookies if enabled. Because we do not sell personal information or use targeted advertising, the site does not currently change its behavior in response to "Do Not Track" browser settings. If a browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as an opt-out from sale or sharing if we ever add a feature that would otherwise involve that activity.

06

Privacy Choices And Rights

Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to us, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we maintain about you. You may also have rights to opt out of certain uses, such as sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not currently sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

To make a privacy request, use the contact form and include "Privacy Request" in your message. We may need to verify your identity before responding. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision, include "Privacy Appeal" in your message. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

07

Security And Data Minimization

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the size and nature of the site and business. We also try to limit collection to information that is useful for responding to inquiries, running the website, and managing the business. No website, email service, or internet transmission is completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to submit.

08

We may update this Policy as the website, services, tools, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
