Practical limits
Search rankings, revenue, third-party tools, and legal compliance cannot be guaranteed by the public website.
Your materials
Only submit content, logins, files, and business information that you are authorized to share.
01
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
02
The website describes web design, website rebuild, site review, and site care services in general terms. Website content is provided for informational and marketing purposes only. It is not legal, tax, financial, accessibility-compliance, privacy-compliance, or other professional advice.
We may update, remove, suspend, or change any part of the website at any time without notice.
03
Sending a contact form, email, website URL, login, file, or project information does not create a client relationship, professional duty, confidentiality obligation beyond applicable law, or requirement that we accept a project. Client work starts only when Old Hand Works and the client agree to written project terms.
If you submit materials, you represent that you have the right to provide them. You give Old Hand Works permission to review, store, copy, and use those materials as needed to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, or perform agreed services.
04
Paid services are governed by the applicable proposal, statement of work, service agreement, invoice terms, or other written agreement. Those written terms should address scope, deliverables, timing, fees, approvals, revisions, client responsibilities, launch conditions, maintenance, third-party costs, and ownership or licensing.
If a written client agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the written client agreement controls for that project.
05
Prices, deposits, billing schedules, taxes, expenses, cancellation terms, late fees, and payment methods are governed by the applicable written project terms or invoice. Website descriptions of services or starting points are not binding quotes unless confirmed in writing.
06
The Old Hand Works name, logo, website copy, design, images, graphics, code, and other public site materials are owned by Old Hand Works or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site for personal or internal business evaluation, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reuse site materials without permission.
Ownership and licensing of any paid project work will be governed by the applicable written client agreement. Example sites, screenshots, and portfolio-style materials may include fictional businesses, sample content, stock or generated media, and demonstration work.

08
The website may rely on or link to third-party services, such as hosting, analytics, email, domain, form, payment, booking, map, social, ordering, or client platforms. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, downtime, pricing, security, or content.
09
We aim to build practical, clear, fast, maintainable websites and to check accessibility, SEO, performance, privacy, and best-practices issues within the agreed scope. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, revenue, conversions, uninterrupted platform availability, perfect third-party tool behavior, or legal compliance unless a written agreement expressly says otherwise.
The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Old Hand Works disclaims all warranties related to the website, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
10
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Old Hand Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to use of the website.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Old Hand Works' total liability for claims related to website use will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Liability for paid client services, if any, is governed by the applicable written client agreement.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Old Hand Works from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or materials you submit without proper rights or authorization.
11
Unless a written client agreement says otherwise or applicable law requires a different rule, these Terms are governed by the laws of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
12
We may update these Terms as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
